To maintain the aesthetic standards of Castle Pines, a member of the CPHA staff works full time to monitor covenant violations. Covenant violation reports come in to CPHA through resident calls and the CPHA & ES staff. If the Standards Monitor confirms the violation, it is photographed and a letter is sent to the responsible homeowner, notifying them of a time frame to resolve the problem. If necessary, a second letter is sent with a one week time frame to either resolve the problem or notify CPHA with a plan for action regarding the problem. If this deadline is not met, the problem is turned over to the resident-volunteer Enforcement Committee to be heard at their next hearing. Throughout the process it is in the best interest of the homeowner to be in contact with the Standards Monitor.
Covenant violation penalties will be determined at the monthly Enforcement hearing. The Enforcement Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 3 pm, CPHA conference room.
The CPHA Standards Monitor is Jo Lewis and she can be reached at 303.814.1345 or by email
